I used to frequent ktvs every week...
but that was like few yrs ago.
I've havent been to one for like 2-3yrs..

and now im here at the ktv...
to celebrate a bird day!
ermm..actually we didnt really celebrate la..

i used to feel bad when i look at my pictures with my frens....
i am bigger in size than all of them, & i look kind of awkward and out...

After the valentine's day dinner...
I had another surprise for lao gong!

cos i tink it looks like my lao gong...

Jia Wei Restaurant @ Grand Mecure Roxy Hotel

All ready to set off for a memorable dinner!

Here we are at Jia Wei Restaurant...
it's located at Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel along marine parade road...
We have alot of memories at marine parade area....
we spent most of our time there...
& even had our rom in the same hotel...
Maybe our wedding dinner will be there too!

We felt abit rigid at the beginning,
cos we were the first to reach....
So...all the attention was on us....

Atmosphere was good!
Dim lighting...
Playing jazz chinese oldies..which i'm very familiar with...
=) GREAT!

We pre ordered Set A menu $68++ per pax....

The sweetly coated walnuts with sesame seeds...
very sweet & crunchy!

I've been waiting & dieing to try this hot stone!
Braised sharkfin with crabmeat & crab roe in hot stone pot!
SIZZLE SIZZLE SIZZLE....SHIOK!!

Let me tell u it's delicious!!!!!!
to the max OK!!!!!!

Look at the big fin!
Lao gong had 3 of this fin and i had only 2...
WHY?????
ladies should have more =(

Peking Duck skin + Jellyfish + Foie Gras

Whoah...i really dont know how to describe the feeling!
Just so ultra heavenly!
It just melts in ur mouth...~~i just cant get enough of it...
I WANT MORE!!!!!

3rd dish...~~

In the menu, we should be served bamboo clams...
But the manager told us..their bamboo clams are really tough & not so nice this season.
So offered to change it to scallops, lobster meat & cuttlefish...
Alot of garlic!
We love garlic!!!!


4th dish up~~~

Handmade noodles with garlic lobster...
WEEEEEeeeeeeee...
the noodles were so Q~!
& the lobster was fresh!

The last dish in Set A....Dessert!

It's fried stuff...
but u know wats in there??

Durian ice cream!
It's very icy~~& reminded me about the traditional POTONG..
HOHOHO~~
Dip it in the mango sauce with some pomelo,
FWAH...DAMN SUPERB!


We were really greedy for more food!
So we ordered more!!!!!!

Garlic Roasted Chicken~~~~~
The skin resembles peking duck's...
HAHA!

I forgotten wat kind of gourd is that...
+ tofu...
with crab meat & roe egg white gravy~~~~
I love the gravy so much!
we wiped out all the food!


& u can see the bloated us....

My shirt nearly burst!

Many other couples took the valentine's day package...
which we didnt know that there's such a ting..
Anyway most of them admire our food more than theirs...
HEHEHEHEHEHE...
So u know which's better huh?? =)

I will definitely go back again for SET A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
& we always have good experience with their service there!

This was one of the pressie given to me 2 yrs ago.
I only wear it to dinners when i need to be "gentle"
the heart swings alot..bang onto someting it will break~

It's Valentine's Day!!

I rushed home from work in the afternoon
& started to make egg tartz!
Wanna give lao gong a surprise!

Wah i was so nervous!
cos it's very rush!
he's reaching my house already~~!

So i quickly decorated the box & put the tarts in!

Nice?? HEHE!

& here he comes...

He didnt realise it..
until i asked him to take a seat...

"what's that?"
I kind of succeeded in surprising him!

WHoah!he's favourite!

He ate it straight away!
cos it's still fresh from the oven...served warm...HOHOHO...

He ate 2!

& we exchanged gift after that...
Went to jia wei restaurant for our Lo-man-ti-ka dinner!
