wow! may i have your recipe for the bread please? :P
Hey hi!
i dont have a standard recipe for this..
i just use my "feel" to make this..
but i can give u a rough idea..
cos i u've made bread b4..u may know how much of water is enough...
i used..
2 cups of bread flour
1 - 1 1/4 cup of water
1 tsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Mix flour, sugar, yeast and salt together, make a well in the flour, add in water gradually till it forms a mild sticky dough.
knead for 20-30 mins with hands until smooth and not sticky anymore. ( when its really too sticky, i have no choice but add in more flour, but it didn't affect the texture of the bread)
Cover the dough with wet towel or cling wrap. Let it proof for 1 1/2 hour or till double in size.
press the air out of the risen dough. knead abit. Divide into
portions depending on how big u want your bread to be.
let the dough rest for another 15 mins.
Press out the air again and shape them.
Send for final proofing, for about 45mins. Preheat your oven at 200 degrees & brush water on ur bread b4 sending into the oven.
after 15 mins of baking, spray some water onto your bread and continue to bake it till golden brown.
THE END...
ermm i hope it's not too confusing...
