Breakthru!!

Haiz..am so upset....but no use crying over it when it's already in my stomach. Whats in my stomach now??

Breakfast After Power Walk~~

This is the action of my Power Walk...HAHAHAHA....
So I don't have to show Lyn in public on Friday *SHY*

I walked for 60 mins at home. tired lor!!!!! Can feel that whole body is exercising, especially arms...!! And you will not feel the strain on ur knee and calves. My legs feel more tired when i jog, but this power walk experience is really different.



The only bad ting is....improper footwear.....
I wore bedroom slippers all the while. HAHA..
guess i need to get a new sports shoe specially for my home based exercise..



Breakfast time!!!!


Bought this multi grain bread from cold storage few days ago. I love to chew on the grains and enjoy it slowly. The fragrance....OHhhhhhh....hahahaha...Anyway this bread has no preservatives and no sugar....and its more expensive than normal multigrain bread. Why is this so? less ingredients should be cheaper... =)


Spread with some Canola Oil Spread...




Pile it up with loads of veggies... & fill bloated!!! *BURP BURP BURP*

My Readings For Today!



I can wake up real early nowadays. Don't feel so lazy anymore. Can wake up as early as 5+am and 6+am even if my classes start in the afternoon.

Few months ago, I felt very dreadful and pitiful to wake up this early. *GRUMBLE GRUMBLE* And will have headache. Even if i were to sleep till 10am I'll still be tired, and will have a heavy head throughout the day~~~~Crazy me!


So now..u see another benefit by having a better health (By eating right food & having adequate exercise) and lighter weight?????

Feel the difference urself and you'll know!

Whoah I'm quite happy with this 6.7 reading, but of course there's still room for improvement. It's getting better...



Blood pressure wise not that good....Will work on it!

And i tink its unavailable in sg.
Add this to any fish and it will be super duper yummy!
This is a must for steaming a fish!!!

Change of Exercising Routine!

Ytd my family watched a documentary & told me...

Power Walk is even better and more effective than jogging. As you get tired easily from jogging, you cant sustain long.


But for power walking, it's like a fast paced kind of walk, arms and hands will move up and down like a robot. ( don't really know how to describe)

They did a few experiments on fat pple, and it works! And it control diabetes and high blood pressure well . Walk 10,000 steps a day!

I will try this instead of jogging...!

Another advantage for this is I can do it at home while i'm watching tv! So unconsciously, I will be walking for hours!!!!

Thats great!! Will try to see whether theres any results.. Will update again!!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies



This is the best Oatmeal Raisin Cookies recipe I've ever came across!

Its definitely worth a bake!!



Ingredients are:

150g Plain Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
112g Unsalted Butter
112g Brown Sugar
112g Castor Sugar
1 egg
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
Rolled Oats (Quantity as desired) (Do not use instant ones)
Raisins/Sultanas (Quantity as desired)



Method:

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees.

1) Cream Butter & all Sugar. Till really fluffy.

2) Add in the egg and vanilla essence. Beat further.

3) Add in all the floury stuffs and mix.

(Do not over mix, just mix gently till there's no visible flour,
if not the cookie will be hard and stiff)

4)Add in the oats and raisin, just mix gently.
You will get a super soft dough.

5) Use a spoon to scoop the dough onto cookie pan,
use a fork to flatten it.

6) Bake for around 10-12mins if you want a more moist and chewy cookie.
Bake for 14-15 mins if you want it to be very crispy.
Let cookie cool down b4 doing anything to it, as its really fragile when its hot/warm.




It spread out alot!


This recipe yields a whole big tub!


Brown Brown...very nice..


I even made a super big one for my dear Boyf...!



Note: I will suggest readers to cut down on the sugar. It's an american recipe, I must say that they really have sweet tooth!!
I'm goin to bake this for my fren next week,
to thank her for buying golden kiwis from Auckland for me =)
Will cut down the sugar from 225g to 100g. HOHO..
But really..everybody should try baking this!!

First, comes my Boyf's Sour Plum Drink and my Plain Ice Water



Mixed platter (Prawn Bamboo, Rice paper Popiah, Fish Cake, Spring Roll)
With many sauces to dip in...


Mango Salad with squid and prawns



Boyf's 3 in 1 mix beef kuay tiao~~



My Vermicelli with grilled grilled chicken, beans sprouts and sauce for me to pour in



Gone fast!

Overall experience is OKOK..not very fantastic. I feel that everyting is way too sweet for me, my mouth and tongue was numb after eating all that. My boyf said no big deal. But i tink their rice paper popiah is worth a try~~Although its really plain...

Total bill: $47+

Worth it??
